I made my dirty 10-year-old privacy fence look brand new in 15 seconds but some people see a problem
A FATHER has revealed how he makes his privacy fence appear brand new.
He shared his go-to cleaning tip, but not everyone was pleased with his method.
Mason Smith (@dadsocial) showed a clip of his privacy fence, which had clearly seen better days, in a video on TikTok.
“This fence is over 10 years old watch as it turns to looking brand new in 15 seconds,” he said.
He filmed himself hosing down the privacy fence, which appeared to look freshly installed with every area washed.
“You could see it working, look at that, you can see it working,” he raved.
The father shared the secret to his technique, a strong cleaning solution.
“Just mix bleach with water and you got a brand new fence.
“This is old,” he said, gesturing to untreated fencing. “Look at this.”
The video drew in many viewers who shared their two cents on the technique.
However, not everyone was fully convinced by Mason’s approach.
“You’re just bleaching the mold, it will be back,” one wrote. “Probably not great for the grass.”
“Or you know, 30-second cleaner product that won’t kill all the grass et cetera,” another added.
“I feel bad for the neighbors grass as it sprays through the fence slats,” a third commented.
“It looked 10 times better before,” yet another wrote.
“What about your neighbor’s side? I would think they will have bleach streaks down their side,” one more commented.
“We own both sides of this fence, but it actually didn’t streak through the other side,” Mason replied.
