Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has warned the public against paying bribes to court officials who claim to collect money on behalf of judges in exchange for favorable decisions. She revealed that such requests for money are often initiated by unscrupulous court staff with the intention of enriching themselves and not on behalf of the judges.
