Nawaz Sharif will be PM of Pakistan if PML-N wins in November, according to his brother and current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Nawaz was convicted in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia Mills corruption cases in 2018 and has since been living in the UK. Shehbaz said Nawaz would change the country's destiny by boosting agriculture, industry and infrastructure. The Election Commission of Pakistan has not yet announced the date of the general election. Some PML-N leaders have linked Nawaz's return to the change of command in the apex court.
