Record setting temperatures are expected across Texas as the southwestern U.S. continues to bake during a scorching summer. Highs of 109 F are forecast for Saturday and 110 F on Sunday in Dallas would break the current record of 107 F each day, both set in 2011 and National Weather Service meteorologist Tom Bradshaw says no relief is in sight. A record-tying 49 consecutive days without rain in Waco is expected to be broken with a 50th consecutive rainless day on Saturday while Oklahoma City's forecast calls for a high of 106 F that would tie the record high for the date that was set in 1934.
