Sheff Utd 1 Man City 2: Rodri scores stunning late winner to rescue win for visitors after Kyle Walker blunder
MANCHESTER CITY have returned to the top of the Premier League table after a hard-fought win over Sheffield United.
Manchester City were in control of the game but struggled to break through a resilient Blades defence.
It got more frustrating for the Citizens as Erling Haaland struck the post from the spot in the first half.
However, Haaland would grab his customary goal as he powered home a header in the 63rd minute.
It then looked like the visitors had thrown away the win in the 85th minute when Kyle Walker sloppily gave away possession and after some calm play from the hosts Jayden Bogle powered an effort home.
But City did not throw in the towel and retook the lead three minutes later as Rodri smashed an effort past Wes Foderingham to seal the win.
