India's solar capacity addition declined by 58% to 1.7 GW in the April-June period due to land and transmission-related issues, according to Mercom India. The country added 4 GW of solar capacity in the same quarter last year. Large-scale solar projects accounted for 77% of the capacity added during the quarter, while rooftop solar installations contributed 23%.
