I can’t believe what I got at Goodwill – I paid $5.29 but it’s worth thousands, I didn’t realize until I opened it
AN avid thrifter has shared her latest Goodwill find that she discovered was worth thousands.
Lucky for her, she only paid $5.29 for the purchase and walked away with a steal.
Tamala Renee (@itstamalarenee) shared the find with over 10,000 TikTok followers.
The content creator, who’s always on the hunt for an affordable bargain, showed off her discovery after the shopping trip in her car.
She was a little stunned but quickly recovered: “If I was a reseller, I’d be like this is my best find ever, it’s going to turn a huge profit,” she joked.
She showed off the parts of her haul she was happy with before revealing the big find: a Mickey Mouse coin purse, a yellow Hunter rain poncho, and a cute summer dress.
Finally, at the big reveal, she pulled out a simple but classy brown buckle shoulder bag.
“To the average eye this doesn’t look like much because I didn’t know what it was either until I opened it up,” she said, showing off its Celine Paris logo.
The thrifter had stumbled across the Celine Box Calfskin Medium Classic Box Flap Bage, which retails for $4,200 but she had purchased it for just $5.29.
As for her next steps, she explained that she had to get the bag authenticated to make sure it was real.
People were shocked by the bag’s enormous price tag and took to the comments to share their own thrift tales.
“I found a Gucci backpack in a thrift store for $7, I love thrifting,” shared one commenter.
“Great find. I need to know how to get a bag authenticated too. Found a Dior bag at Goodwill for $20,” said another.
