Reneé Rapp Buckles Into Leather Heels With TikToker Davis Burleson
Reneé Rapp meant business for her latest interview — this time, on TikTok.
On Saturday, Rapp spoke with host Davis Burleson on his namesake “What’s Poppin? With Davis!” show on the social media app, wearing set of sharp leather heels. The “Snow Angel” musician’s black style featured smooth uppers with thin soles and pointed toes, topped by silver metal buckled straps.
Rapp’s shoe silhouette couldn’t be fully seen, though they likely encompassed a pointed-toe pump or boot silhouette — given similar pairs on the market, as well as past vintage styles from the early 2000s. Stiletto-heeled styles from the decade often featured the embellishment as a gothic, edgy finish to revamp the staple pointed-toe pump, while modern iterations — as seen in new collections by Diesel, Steve Madden and Alexander McQueen — have wholeheartedly revived it for the present day.
The pair also brought a sleek finish to Rapp’s attire: a set of stone-washed blue denim jeans, paired with a graphic T-shirt and eyelet-studded belt. The “Mean Girls: The Musical” actress finished her outfit with an oversized black blazer, emphasizing its roots in ’90s and early 2000s dressing while remaining contemporary and slick. However, it wasn’t the only style statement she’s made in recent weeks; earlier in the month, Rapp also struck a pose in a black top, leather pants and stiletto-heeled boots while promoting a new bag collection by Tumi, as well.
Rapp’s shoe style is edgy and casual. The “Sex Lives of College Girls” star often wears Converse and Air Jordan sneakers, as well as Dr. Martens boots. For more formal occasions, Rapp can also be seen in block and stiletto-heeled black boots in a wide variety of silhouettes.
