The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to set up a Central Command and Control Centre at the Police Headquarters in Lucknow to address traffic congestion in major cities. The center will send real-time updates to local traffic police officials via Google Maps alerts. It will integrate with the Integrated Traffic Management System of major cities to identify congested routes and timings.
