Queen Camilla Goes Classic With Beige Pumps to Royal Air Force Club Ceremony’s Portrait Unveiling
Queen Camilla was formally outfitted for her latest royal occasion.
On Tuesday, the queen arrived to the Royal Air Force Club in London to meet Squadron Leader Imam Ali Omar for a room naming ceremony in her honor — as well as a portrait unveiling of SOE Operative, Noor-un-Nisa Inayat Khan GC. For the occasion, Camilla slipped on a pair of low-heeled pumps with pointed toes and smooth beige suede uppers.
The style was complete with short, slightly angled block kitten heels totaling under 2 inches in height, bringing Camilla’s attire a subtle height boost. The set also provided a neutral, tonal base for her outfit: a silky deep green midi-length dress, complete with long sleeves, a flounced hem and an allover white polka dot print.
Camilla’s outfit was finished with several layered thin gold bracelets — as well as a strand strung with green Van Cleef & Arpels charms — and two thin gold necklaces strung with several round pendants in varying textures. A set of pearl drop earrings with diamond-covered posts finished the pair with a dash of gleaming sparkle.
Pumps like Camilla’s are a lower-height silhouette within the classic pointed-toe pump style, deviating with their lower angles and short heels. Block and kitten-heeled iterations are often worn for a formal outfit base and subtle height boost, regularly released in neutral hues of black, brown and beige.
