Sofia Vergara Soars in Platform Heels for ‘America’s Got Talent’ Live Show
Sofia Vergara packed a punch for the latest episode of “America’s Got Talent.”
While filming the show’s latest episode for its 18th season in Pasadena, Calif., Vergara posed backstage in a set of hidden heels. Though the pair couldn’t be fully seen, the actress’ footwear did include smooth black uppers with a thick base.
The platform-soled pair likely included strappy uppers with tall stiletto or block heels, similar to past pairs Vergara’s worn over the years — as well as trending styles currently on the market. Platform sandals and pumps have faced a renaissance in the 2020s for their height-boosting silhouettes, which has continued with a range of new colors and materials in summer collections — as seen in new offerings from brands including Stuart Weitzman, Coach and Aquazzura.
Vergara’s footwear, however, did provide a neutral base for her outfit: a sleeveless white jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and long, draped legs, all covered in black zebra stripes. The ensemble was complete with sparkling post earrings, which the “Modern Family” actress also complemented with a crystal-covered waist belt for a burst of glamour.
For footwear, Vergara favors tall platform sandals and pumps. Aside from stiletto and block-heeled styles, the “Griselda” actress’ rotation also includes trendy Gia Borghini mules, See by Chloé boots and Puma sneakers. Vergara’s made soaring heeled platform pumps and sandals her go-to’s over the years, as well, often hailing from top brands including Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent and Gianvito Rossi.
