Towie star reveals she was snubbed by Big Brother – and her ‘lookalike’ went on to win the show
A TOWIE star has revealed she was snubbed by Big Brother producers.
Chloe Sims has told how she applied to be a housemate on the iconic reality show before finding fame.
However, she was rejected by producers who instead cast a girl who looked just like her.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Chloe revealed: “That was quite a long time before I went on to TOWIE and I got really far down to like the bit where you’re meeting someone with a pink umbrella. It was it was a bit strange.
“I don’t think I made it because there was a girl very similar to me. I can’t remember her name but she was blonde, big boobs, and skinny.
“She went on to win it actually, the girl who went on instead of me.
“I’m glad I didn’t do it because I couldn’t remember her name even for a million pounds and not I’m not even being disrespectful.”
Not long after being rejected from the show Chloe landed a role in The Only Way Is Essex.
She left the reality show and now has her very own programmed called House of Sims.
Earlier this year The Sun revealed how Chloe had signed a seven-figure deal with Netflix.
The streaming giant had battled it out with other platforms for the rights to her show.
A source close to production exclusively told The Sun: “The show has gotten off to an incredible start and exceeded expectations with its viewing figures.
“Offers quickly came in from major streaming platforms, and Netflix blew Amazon out of the water with a huge sum. Both parties are really happy, and it’s all been agreed – it now just needs signing off.”
