Luckily, one DIY fan has shared the super easy way she transformed her outdoor space in an instant, and you can do the same for as little as £1.
Posting on TikTok, Karlee Gail Bowman shared the affordable hack and the results are pretty impressive.
Using a metal shepard’s hook and some lights Karlee made her planters look loads more expensive.
She simple stuck the hook into the soil and draped the string lights over them.
The hooks just give the lights something to hang on to with out sticking them against your fence.
The gardening fan used two hooks so she could place the lights over the seating area for a really posh and trendy look.
She said: “Drape [the lights] from hook to hook and this will create the most beautiful, magical glow outside this summer.”
“If someone were to ask me the one thing an outdoor space needs, I would say, a warm glow.
“Grab some string lights and use this hack to life up those string lights,” she continued.
You can buy garden lights for just £1 in B&M, so this trick is really budget-friendly too.
