The union cabinet on Wednesday approved providing 75 lakh new LPG connections for free under the Ujjwala scheme, according to Union Minister Anurag Thakur. This will bring the total number of beneficiaries to over 10 crore across the country. The govt had recently slashed price of domestic LPG by Rs 200 per cylinder.
