Chrissy Teigen & Her Baby Esti Reached New Milestones at the Same Time & We Can’t Help but Think They’re Related
It was busy week for Chrissy Teigen and her 8-month-old daughter Esti. The mother and daughter each reached new milestones at the same time — and it sums up parenting life perfectly.
The Cravings author shared an update from her life on Instagram yesterday, captioned, “week 1,970 of my life (nearing 20 million minutes old!!).” In it, two major things happened: she got her first gray hair at the same time Esti grew her first teeth!
“Oh my gosh!” she says in one video, as her hairdresser combs through her hair and points out a streak of gray. “Just one!” he assures her.
“Oh my gosh, what!” she responds, adding, “I don’t mind it.” It happens to all of us!

Having a teething baby, on top of raising 2-month-old baby Wren, 5-year-old son Miles, and 7-year-old daughter Luna, who she shares with husband John Legend, is enough to make anyone go gray! She is one busy mama — the gray is just a badge of honor!
In her post, the TV personality also shared several adorable photos of her other kids, including one with Wren giving a wide-mouthed grin to his mom, one with Luna holding Wren on a picnic blanket, and a video of Teigen and Miles at his soccer practice. We love seeing these little glimpses into their lives, which looks just like a regular family.
Many people commented on the post, and Teigen and Esti’s milestones. “Welcome to the grey side ????,” one person wrote. Another said, “Embrace the gray. Gray is in.”
“TEEFS! ????” someone else wrote. Another said, “Those little teeth!!!????”
In a March 2023 interview with Access Hollywood, Teigen dished about her youngest daughter, who was a newborn at the time. “It’s so great. It’s really so chaotic and fun. It was like she came right in and fit right in,” she said, adding, “She’s very vocal. She’s a big complainer.”
Now that she’s older, Esti seems to be much happier — but the chaos has only increased, as evidenced by Teigen’s life updates. Hang in there, mama, you’re doing great!
