Oprah Winfrey Wears Saint Laurent’s Vendome Pumps for Kering Foudnation’s Caring for Women Dinner
Oprah Winfrey vibrantly attended the Kering Foundation Caring for Women dinner in New York City on Sept. 12. This marks the second year of the fundraising event, which is organized to raise money for organizations like Jordan River Foundation that address gender-based violence. It was a star-studded event with attendees like Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman and Lauren Sanchez supporting the cause.
The talk show host walked the black carpet in a pair of Saint Laurent’s Vendome slingback pumps. The glazed leather heels featured a sleek silhouette accompanied by a slingback strap and a pointed toe. The pumps brought slight height to the look with a stiletto heel that was about 2.7 inches tall.
Winfrey paired the glossy set with a purple long-sleeve maxi dress also by Saint Laurent with a wrap bodice. The producer accessorized with a sparkling gold ring and a pair of teardrop earrings. She completed the look with a black leather clutch with gold hardware along the sides. She kept her light brown hair in a softly curled style that complimented her glamorous makeup that featured a smokey eye and a mauve lip.
Winfrey served as the co-chairman at the event last night, along with other stars like Zoë Kravitz, Olivia Wilde and Salma Hayek, who was seen arriving in a burgundy sequin-embellished gown and strappy heels. The actress’ husband François-Henri Pinault has been the CEO of Kering since 2005.
The author was seen spending some time in Europe this summer. In July, she was seen enjoying a boat ride on the Amalfi Coast of Italy wearing a pair of white pleated trousers with matching chunky sneakers.
Winfrey often gravitates towards a pair of pumps for any occasion. Her closet is filled with open and pointed-toe styles from top labels like Christian Louboutin, Valentino and Jimmy Choo. When off-duty, she is staying active in a pair of sneakers from Allbirds and Vionic.
