Cape Town’s MyCiTi bus service has logged 18.32-million passenger trips for the 12 months from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. This is significantly more than the target of 16.9-million passenger trips originally set by Cape Town’s Portfolio Committee on Urban Mobility for the 2022/23 financial year.
