Who is comedian Daniel Sloss?
Daniel Sloss is a Scottish comedian, actor and writer.
His comedy career kicked off when his mum introduced him to funny man Frankie Boyle at a corporate gig when he was 17.
The Mock the Week star agreed to coach the Sloss and he even went on to write material for Boyle.
At 19, Sloss became the youngest comedian to perform a solo season in London’s West End.
After getting his big break, Sloss went on to star in his own BBC3 show The Adventures of Daniel and performed a 50-date British tour in 2022.
He has two Netflix specials, titled Dark and Jigsaw, and has performed on US chat shows such as Conan.
What age is Daniel Sloss?
Daniel was born in Kingston upon Thames on September 11, 1990 – making him 33.
He has two younger brothers, Matthew and Jack.
His sister, Josie, was born with cerebral palsy and sadly passed away when she was seven.
Speaking about grief to the Daily Record, he said: “Even now I can’t handle sadness. It was awful but it happened.
“I can’t imagine what it was like for my mum and dad.
‘I was nine. It’s difficult to comprehend. To be left with me must have been a really short straw.”

What has Daniel Sloss said about Russell Brand?
Comedian Russel Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse by four women.
The women, including one who was just 16 at the time, have alleged sexual assaults occurred between 2006 and 2013, when Brand was at the peak of his fame.
The allegations were made in a joint investigation by The Times, The Sunday Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches.
Brand vehemently denies the allegations and, in a video posted online, stated all of his relationships have been “consensual”.
Sloss was one of the interviewees in the Dispatches programme, Russell Brand: In Plain Sight that aired on September 16, 2023.
Speaking to The Times, Sloss said he first heard “rumours” about Brand’s alleged predatory behaviour within the comedy industry more than a decade ago, but that these allegations did not affect his work.
“I couldn’t not say something, from the second I started he was a big name, a big, big, big household name, everyone in the UK knows who he is.
“If you were a comedian and got to gig with him you’d be gigging with a celebrity.
“I’m stood in bars with agents, promoters, channel commissioners and I’m hearing these allegations and rumours with Russell in the same room, and later on he would be on a movie, on a television show, he would be hosting something. He was still being employed.”
He added: “I know that there are groups set up by female comedians where they warn each other of comedians, and agents, people in the industry who to avoid, and I know for many, many years that women have been warning each other about Russell.”
He also claimed that some performers were asked to remove any referencing jokes in relation to Russell’s alleged crimes, explaining: “I know there are comedians who have made references and have either been asked or told to not do those jokes anymore.
“Hearing that is intimidating, it’s scary. You don’t know where these people are coming from and how high up it goes.
“Questions that should have been asked about Russell before he was employed for certain things, I do not believe they were asked.
“You do look at people who are in higher positions of authority in this industry and think to yourself ‘well, there is more you could have done'”.
