The Nobel Foundation announced on Friday that it will raise the award amount for this year’s Nobel Prizes by 1 million kronor ($900,000) to 11 million kronor ($986,270). This means that in Indian currency, the amount will increase from Rs 7.5 crore to Rs 8.15 crore.
