Paedophile football coach Barry Bennell ‘dies in prison’
Paedophile Barry Bennell, who abused more than 20 boys while coaching at several top football clubs in the 1990s and 1980s, has reportedly died in prison.
The Sun reported that the 69-year-old, who was sentenced to 31 years in prison five years ago, died on Saturday morning.
He was ultimately convicted of more than 50 sexual offences against 22 boys, largely carried out while he was a youth coach at clubs including Crewe Alexandra, Manchester City and Stoke City.
