A KEEN TRAVELLER has revealed why he loves to sit in economy for long-haul flights.
The Reddit user shocked some by explaining his preference – but the majority of commenters agreed with him.
Salacity_Cupidity laid out his reasoning in a post titled: “I enjoy 10+hour plane flights, even in economy.”
He explained: “Sure the seating might be uncomfortable, but if you can secure an emergency row seat it is not miserable.
“A 10+ flight feels like a true stress-free, worry-free existence where I don’t have to think about studies, or anything I am supposed to complete, not to mention basically constant service, you can watch movies for the entire flight if you want. Economy food is garbage though I admit.
“Flights just feel like a true ataraxy where I’m not thinking about anything I have to do, just watching movies and eating or drinking.
“I also have the opposite of claustrophobia, I find sleeping in a coffin so cozy… I like caving too.”

One wrote: “100 per cent agree. Ten hours to do nothing but read, nap, and watch movies without feeling guilty that I should be doing something productive is a nice feeling!”
