Sunny, smooth and tiny

Monday started out with a light NW breeze, mostly sunny skies and 1.4 metres of 10 second south (172°) swell out at sea. That combo will be just too straight south for most places I’d guess, but magnets should have the odd waist to chest and a bit set. Dee Why point was just barely working, but up the beach toward Longy, I’d guess there’d be at least a little something for the keen. Crowds should (maybe) slightly dialled back as the private schools have started the new term.
Swell’s expected to build this afternoon as the weather clouds over and the SW wind starts ramping up. Tomorrow the call is for SW 20-25 kts with cloudy and potentially showery weather. The Bureau says the south pulse will peak overnight but still be in the 2.5-3 metre range tomorrow. So, there might be something for the fit and experienced rider.
Wednesday currently looks like swell conditions similar to today but with light onshores… Thursday might see a more easterly tilt to the swell and light wind early, so maybe…
