Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh’s baby daughter rushed to A&E as she shares hospital pic
RYAN Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh’s baby daughter has been rushed to hospital.
Mum Lucy shared a pictured of her cuddling daughter Lilah, 17 months, after a dash to A&E with a mystery illness.
The unplanned trip came as Lucy was meant to be going to her RWL business‘s health and wellness retreat in Portugal.
She told her Instagram followers: “Meant to be boarding a plane to Portugal now, but this little one had other ideas.”
Lucy continued: “Everyone on the retreat this week have the most amazing time! I’m very jealous the itinerary, menu & team is incredible.
“Hoping to join when Lilah is better.
“Now I just need to focus on giving her lots of mummy cuddles and getting her back to being healthy and well.”
Partner Ryan is at home looking after Roman, two, while Lucy is by Lilah’s side.
Today the doting dad shared a video of his little boy, who had returned from uncle Scott’s house with a fun surprise.
The youngster had a pumpkin for Halloween engraved with the message “my daddy can’t skate”, a nod to Ryan signing up to Dancing On Ice.
Ryan joked he was never letting his brother look after his son again.
Almost a year ago to the day, the couple had a terrifying scare when Roman needed urgent treatment in hospital.
On that occasion they were forced to cancel a family holiday.
Lucy found Roman blue and unconscious in his cot and immediately called for help.
He needed a nebuliser, oxygen, steroids and antibiotics to overcome a nasty virus and fortunately made a full recovery.
Just months prior to that they had another hospital dash with Lilah who was diagnosed with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) which caused bronchiolitis.
