A 39-year-old Indian-origin man has been sentenced to 16 weeks in jail and placed on the sexual offenders register for sexually assaulting a woman on a train from Birmingham to London. The man, Mukhan Singh, was arrested at Leamington station in 2021. He pleaded guilty in court and claimed the victim had "wanted" it. The court heard that Singh stared at the woman before blocking her in and assaulting her.
