Big Brother housemates forced to sleep outside in the cold in major task twist
HOUSEMATES on ITV’s Big Brother don’t look like they’re enjoying their new task – being forced to sleep outside in the cold.
The show is known for throwing unexpected twists and turns at its contestants, and this season is no exception.
The contestants, accustomed to the comforts of the Big Brother house, were taken aback when they were instructed to spend the night outside.
While some participants embraced the challenge and saw it as an opportunity to demonstrate their strength and resilience, others struggled to cope with the harsh conditions.
Some fans think the challenge isn’t harsh enough expressing their opinion on X, formerly known as Twitter, by stating: “Itv producers I need u guys to be more harsh with the challenges. This love fest isn’t what I signed up for. Big brother himself has gone soft”.
As part of the challenge, housemates had to engage in tasks throughout the day to earn the coveted title of ‘VIP Glampers’ for a more luxurious camping experience.
Hallie was left less than impressed during the challenge. She took to the Big Brother diary room saying: “Big Brother, I am not impressed. I want some food and I want to be a VIP glamper and I want a warm shower and I want a proper toilet.”
The wet and wintry weather UK weather is set to continue this week after bone-chilling temperatures plummeted to -2C.
It comes after Big Brother revealed the first housemate evicted from the house, Farida Khalifa.
Farida, 50, along with Kerry Riches, 40, were put forward for the public vote after an in house nomination.
The public voted to evict Farida which sent her packing on Friday.
Leaving the house to fizzing fireworks, Farida told the crowd: “I had the most amazing time. Thanks everybody for making the effort and coming tonight. I love ya. God bless ya.”
Fans were taken aback with Farida’s eviction with one taking to X writing: “What do you mean Farida’s been evicted!”
Another viewer wrote: “Tried cleaning my soul with a social media break but I’ve had to come back on here just to spread my absolute disappointment at Farida being evicted“.
