I use felt-tip instead of lipstick – it’s cheaper, looks just as good and doesn’t rub off either, people can’t tell
SHE thought she’d suffered the most epic make-up fail after forgetting her lipstick on the way to a wedding.
But Syd emptied her bag to see if there was anything else in there that she could use instead.
And she had high hopes when she found a felt-tip pen.
She took to TikTok to share a video of herself on the way to the nuptials, trying out the marker pen.
“When you forgot lipstick but you found this magic marker in your purse and will have to do,” she wrote over the top.
“Oooh,” Syd said as she saw what the colour looked like on her pout.
“I like it!” she concluded, as she pressed her lips together to seal the colour in.
“Uhmmmmm just saying it actually held up well,” Syd captioned her video.
“We had a wedding we were rushing to and i totally forgot any kind of lip product, but i had this marker in my bag.
“I haven’t worn this bold of a color in a whileeeee but it did the trick!”
People were quick to comment on Syd’s video, with one writing: “You are brave for that!”
“Desperate times!” Syd replied.
“Why did I think it was the rem beauty lip marker stain?!” another commented.
“That’s so cool!!” a third wrote.
“Did it make your lips feel dry? How did it wear throughout the night?”
“They felt kinda sticky!!” Syd replied.
“I stopped and got a random lip color that I hated so I wiped it all off and put more of the marker on.
“Didn’t look again!”
