I hit the jackpot dumpster diving at TJ Maxx – I scored designer underwear but the best find had a $275 price tag
DUMPSTER diving has never looked so glamorous thanks to one women’s jackpot find at TJ Maxx.
She was staggered when she found plastic bags containing fashion treasures from the store including designer underwear.
But the best find by far still had price tags on for $275.
Glamour Dive (@glamourddive), who has 1.4 million followers, was thrilled with her dumpster haul.
The 21-year-old Texan laid out the results of her spectacularly successful find: “This was probably one of the my best scores,” she said.
In her post, she showed what she found: “So I’m dumpster diving at TJ Maxx and I ripped open this bag and it is so full, there’s a ton of stuff.”
The contents spilled out and what she found was a revelation.
“There’s a purse right there. It’s definitely Coach and it still has the original tags of $275.
“There’s also a Calvin Klein sweatshirt and I don’t see any cuts.
“There is bio silk shampoo conditioner. There’s so much in here.”
There was more Calvin Klein in the form of underwear, plus another designer purse from Steve Madden, and scented candles.
There was a huge response to her unusual fashion forays, with over 470,000 likes and nearly four thousand comments.
Many commenters thought they might give it a go.
“That’s it, I’m going dumpster diving. Who’s coming?” said one person.
This person was considering a change of career: “At this point, I’m thinking of quitting my job and becoming a dumpster diver.’
And this viewer knew what they were going to do as soon as they got a set of wheels: “As soon as I get a car I’m going dumpster diving everywhere.”
