Christine McGuinness ‘takes swipe at ex Paddy’ in furious rant after he ‘quit’ Channel 4 show to take care of their kids
CHRISTINE McGuinness appears to blast her ex-husband Paddy after he quit his new Channel 4 show.
The reality star launched the thinly-veiled rant after telling fans that she’s just read “some absolute b*******”.
Christine, who was married to the comedian for 11 years, was clearly furious and shocked by what she had read.
Sitting in her car after a nail appointment, she told followers: ” Just hold on a minute…. Wow.
“I just read some absolute b*******. I mean, I’m like, yeah,” she continued.
“Speechless, mindblown, not shocked, but I will just sit here and keep my dignified silence.
“What a load of shite. Do you know this Halloween I’m going to turn up as someone who’s totally got their s*** together – nobody is going to know it’s me,” she laughed sarcastically.
She then posted a quote that said: “Feels good to have your s*** together. Personally I wouldn’t know but I bet it feels good”.
Yesterday, Paddy was forced to take a week off from filming Channel 4’s Don’t Look Down – a Stand Up To Cancer challenge.
Speaking of his departure, he said: “Unfortunately today I’ve got to go home and I might not be back for at least a week.”
“Co-parenting… We’ve no one at all to help us with the kids.”
He added: “With our children, they need me or Christine there or people who are in our support network.
“I’m gutted because the guys will be 10 metres up in the air and it will feel like starting again but there’s just nothing I can do about it.”
Paddy and Christine have three children who all have autism.
They announced their split last year but said that they would continue to live together to co-parent.
This comes after Christine was spotted “chatting for ages” with Manchester United star Jesse Lingard on a night out.
A source told The Sun: “Christine and Jesse were chatting for ages.
“It is clear Jesse took a shine to Christine and they looked pretty close.”
Christine was also spotted recently checking out a £2.2million five-bedroom homes in Prestbury, Cheshire, with an estate agent.
