A CLEANING fanatic has shared the homemade solutions she uses in her home.
The TikToker demonstrated how to make the DIY mixtures, which she said help to repel dust.
In her video, Carolina McCauley (@carolina.mccauley) showed viewers her “hottest tips and tricks for cleaning smarter, not harder.”
For her first DIY solution, Carolina mixed equal parts water and vinegar.
She also measured out one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of dish soap.
“It repels dust for weeks,” Carolina explained as she wiped down her window sills.
The cleaning enthusiast also revealed the mix she uses to mop her floors.
She added a quarter cup of vinegar and a quarter cup of dish soap to a spray bottle.
Carolina diluted the solution with two cups of warm water before adding it to her floor.
She recommended “mopping with the grain” when using the DIY mixture.
When she finished, she showed her audience her “clean floors without streaks.”
Carolina also advised viewers to “invest in a spot cleaner to keep your couch clean and remove hidden dirt.”
