Maine shooting suspect remains at large: Live coverage
At least 16 people were killed in Lewiston, Maine, on Wednesday night in a mass shooting incident at two locations, and the suspect remains at large.
Police sent an alert of an active-shooter situation at Schemengees Bar and Grille, a restaurant, and at Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley about 4 miles away. People in the bowling alley said the shooting began about 7 p.m.
Police have released a photo of Robert Card, 40, as a person of interest. Card, a firearms instructor in the Army Reserve, is “considered armed and dangerous," according to police.
More than 100 federal and local investigators are searching for the subject.
