Taylor Swift Goes Preppy in Knee-High Leather Boots by Prada
Taylor Swift was photographed walking around New York City on Thursday in vintage Prada burgundy Italian leather knee-high boots.
Swift’s boots boast nearly 5-inch heels, a rounded toe, sleek stitching and a fitted calf that hits right below the knee. It’s unclear exactly what year the boots are from, but Prada currently offers a similar style with a chunkier heel.
The 5-foot-11 pop star often elevates her height with heels: chunky heeled boots, sparkly booties and classic strappy stilettos are among Swift’s go-to’s. Her hugely popular Eras tour showcased a parade of glittery knee-high boots and booties to coordinate with her sparkly bodysuits.
The “Cruel Summer” artist topped the boots with an oversized Stella McCartney Pony Club rugby top from the winter 2023 collection, worn as a dress, featuring a large gold horse and horseshoe decal on the upper chest. Swift served up an East Coast collegiate preppy edition of the no-pants trend for an effortlessly cool, casual fall getup. To complete the look, she accessorized with a brown leather Tod’s T Timeless purse, a tan Ralph Lauren dad cap and a light coral lip.
The “Anti-Hero” singer was spotted with “Deadpool 3” director Shawn Levy, adding fuel to the fire of the ongoing rumors that she has a cameo in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster. It’s believed that she plays Dazzler, an X-Men superhero that turns sound into light. Levy has not confirmed or denied the Swift gossip when asked in multiple interviews, so fans will have to wait until the film is released to find out.
