The tougher task is to let go of assets. There is no point in keeping assets and denying creditors their dues. Taking more loans to pay the older ones is dangerous. They will not only pay heavy interest on the new loan, but may end up losing the pledged asset on very poor terms for not being able to pay the EMIs.
