Capture the Action: Professional Photo-Shooting Course at the 2023 Cyclo-Cross Provincial Championships
Elevate your photography skills and capture the pure action at the heart of the 2023 Ontario Cycling Cyclo-Cross Provincial Championships. We are happy to announce that we are teaming up with Canadian Cyclist to host an exclusive photography course facilitated by the renowned UCI and Canadian Cyclist photographer Rob Jones, set to take place at this year’s Provincial Championships event (Nicholls Oval, Peterborough, ON).
About the Course:
The photography course is catered to a diverse audience, including parents, new photographers, and (semi-)professional photographers. This course is a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of capturing the essence of cycling through a camera lens. The course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive insights into photography techniques, specific tips for shooting cycling, safety measures, insurance considerations, and professional conduct guidelines.
Course Structure:
The course will start with an engaging theoretical session on November 12th at 8:30 AM, where participants will gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles and technical aspects of sports photography, especially in the context of dynamic cycling events. This theoretical foundation will be immediately put into practice during the practical session held at the Provincial Championships in Peterborough.

Participation and Fees:
In order to ensure an optimal learning experience, the course will only be conducted if a minimum of four individuals sign up. The three-hour-long course costs $75 + tax (OC-Members) / $100 + tax (Non-Members) per person, promising an invaluable investment in your upcoming photography adventures. Please be advised that the course fee has to be paid prior to the course.
