Progressive, State Farm Vie for Crown in Provider Rankings of Insurance Apps
Navigating insurance policies can be a daunting and complex process, especially since we only use them when we face trouble. In this edition of PYMNTS’ Provider Rankings of Insurance Apps, we’ve compiled a list of the best insurance apps, based on factors like channel coverage and monthly active users.
Still guarding the top spot are Progressive and State Farm, which both had perfect scores.

The Top 5
No. 1 is still tied between Progressive and State Farm, both of which have perfect score of 100.
GEICO Mobile — Car Insurance held on to the No. 2 ranking with a score of 95.
Two points higher than before is Aetna Health, scoring 82 at No. 3.
No. 4 is left unchanged with Allstate Mobile, scoring 75 points.
No. 5 now goes to USAA Mobile, which climbed up a ranking with a score of 66.
The Top 10
In No. 6 is Liberty Mutual Mobile, scoring 64 points.
Safeco Mobile remains at No. 7 with the same score of 59.
Jerry: Car Insurance climbed up the rankings to No. 8 with a new score of 52.
No. 9 goes to Oscar Health, which also climbed up the rankings with a new score of 41 despite scoring 3 points less than before.
Nationwide Mobile closes out the rankings with their new spot at No. 10 and a score of 38.
