Nigel Farage reckons he would be fine on I’m A Celeb – as he’s used to dealing with snakes in Brussels
NIGEL Farage reckons he would be fine on I’m A Celebrity because he is used to dealing with snakes in Brussels.
The ex-MEP and Brexit Party leader confirmed he was seriously considering an offer to sign up for the next series.
Former jungle queen Georgia Toffolo is reportedly helping him broker a deal with ITV worth up to £1m.
On his GB News show the leading Brexiteer said: “You’ve got about 10 million young people who watch that programme.
“These are people who don’t really watch the news or read newspapers, but they still care about the country they live in and their futures.
“So in my mind, if I was to do it, I might be able to connect with that audience because goodness me they all watch I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”
Mr Farage insisted he’d cope with any Bushtucker trial having dealt with “ghastly people” in the EU parliament.
He said: “I’m used to going through tough times and living with snakes of all different sizes.”
A spokesman for the show said: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! are just speculation. We’ll announce our line-up in due course.”
