A MUM has discovered a genius free trick to tackle the infuriating problem of frozen windshields.
Getting the kids in the car for the school run is a struggle on its own – let alone when its bitterly cold and the car has frozen over.
The video – which has more than 6000 likes – has viewers baffled at how they didn’t discover the hack before.
It shows a car with frozen over windows and zero visibility quickly transform into a vehicle that’s safe to drive.
The mum gets into her motor and turns the heating fans onto high – but it’s what she does next that makes the magic happen.
She tilts the mirror visors forward to create a trap for the warm air and to keep the heat closer to the windscreen – and Immediately the ice begins to melt.
Some viewers were grateful for the tip however others thought it was blatantly obvious.
