On Saturday at 7:30 PM ET, two of the top offensive performers in college football will be featured when wideout Rome Odunze and the Washington Huskies (8-0) visit quarterback Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans (7-2).
The Huskies head into the matchup after winning 42-33 over the Stanford Cardinal in their last game on October 28. The Trojans’ last game finished in a 50-49 win over the California Golden Bears. Michael Penix Jr. had 369 yards on 21-of-38 passing (55.3%) for the Dawgs in that matchup against the Cardinal, with four touchdowns and one interception. Dillon Johnson ran for 84 yards on 18 carries (4.7 yards per carry) and one touchdown. Ja’Lynn Polk had 148 yards on five catches (29.6 per reception) with two touchdowns in that game. Williams went 23-for-40 with 369 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Trojans against the Golden Bears. He also rushed 13 times for -13 yards and two touchdowns. MarShawn Lloyd carried the ball 17 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns. He caught three passes for 72 yards. Tahj Washington caught five passes on seven targets for 102 yards (20.4 yards per reception).
