Who is in the Great British Bake Off final?
AFTER nine long weeks in the famous white tent, The Great British Bake Off is now heading into its grand final.
A dozen bakers kicked off the competition, but there are only THREE who are left in the running to scoop the crown.
Who is in the Great British Bake Off final?
The Great British Bake Off started off with 12 amateur bakers all facing a series of challenges, which had a different theme every week.
The contestants have baked everything from a Showstopper buffet, to a Technical which saw them having to create the original Bake Off cake.
While none of it has been easy, they all managed to do themselves proud, and now the finalists have been unveiled.
The final episode will see Dan, Josh, and Matty battle it out one last time, before one of them is crowned the Bake Off 2023 champion.
What happens in a Great British Bake Off final?
The final round of The Great British Bake Off sees the three remaining contestants battle it out to take the Bake Off crown.
The format of the final isn’t dissimilar to the rest of the series, with the finalists still undergoing the Signature, Technical and Showstopper challenges.
Unlike a lot of talent shows, GBBO isn’t live, and is instead prerecorded.
This means viewers don’t get the chance to vote for their winner, this is instead decided by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
Which contestants have left the Great British Bake Off so far?
Over the course of the series, the dozen bakers have been whittled down to the final three.
Those who have left the famous white tent are:
- Week Nine: Tasha, 27, is a participation officer from Bristol.
- Week Eight: Cristy, 33, is a mum and PA from East London.
- Week Seven: Saku, 50, is an intelligence analyst from Herefordshire.
- Week Six: Dana, 25, is a database administrator from Essex.
- Week Five: Nicky, 52, is a retired cabin crew member from the West Midlands and Rowan, 21, is a student from West Yorkshire.
- Week Four: No one – due to Tasha being ill.
- Week Three: Abbi, 27, is a veg grower and delivery driver from Cumbria.
- Week Two: Keith, 60, is a chartered accountant from Hampshire.
- Week One: Amos, 43, is a deli manager from north London
When is the Great British Bake Off on?
The Great British Bake Off will conclude on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
The action will kick off from 8pm on Channel 4.
