I’m A Celebrity suffers major blunder as show ‘blacks out’ leaving fans confused
I’M A Celebrity fans flocked to social media to point out the faux pas.
Viewers were left confused when their TV screens turned blank during Ant and Dec‘s autocue skit.
The presenters couldn’t help but grin as they carried out a mischievous experiment on the show, turning off their autocue to prove they didn’t rely on it and were still skilled presenters.
But during the livestream, they had a comedically timed mishap.
Fans of the show took to social media to point out that their screens had gone blank.
It looks like the joke interfered with the shows broadcast, causing the live stream to cut out.
One viewer wrote: “Who else’s screen went black for a second I’m so confused.”
Another exclaimed: “I didn’t know turning the autocue off would turn the TV black too.”
A third joked: “Turned more than the auto cue off didn’t they?”
A fourth added: “Producers turning of the camera instead of the autocue.”
Later on, the presenters apologised for the technical difficulty.
Meanwhile, another shock feud has emerged in the I’m A Celebrity camp.
During the show, tension rose between Fred, 59, and Nella, as the stars were waking up.
Nella explained: “Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad.
“I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad’s passed away.”
“I didn’t say anything about it last night because I was kind of just annoyed about it.”
She added: “So I slept on it and I kind of thought about it and I was just like, this is not the kind of person I want to be around.”
An apologetic Fred was keen to make things right, but the pair failed to make amends.
He replied: “I am so sorry. Can I just say? First of all, I am sorry I’ve offended you. I am unaware that you felt offended.”
