I’m plus-size and I did a mega Primark Christmas party outfit haul – the sizing is terrible, it was such a fail
A WOMAN has revealed that she did a mega Primark haul, but it was a total fail.
Rhiannon, a plus-size woman from the UK, explained that she bought a number of festive outfits for Christmas, but was not impressed.
She claimed that things went from bad to worse, with dresses and skirts that were far too short and extremely tight.
The Primark fan took to social media to share her fail, leaving many open-mouthed.
She wrote: “Primark plus-size party season try on haul.
“This one went from bad to worse but hey, we share the good and the bad!”
As she held up her shopping bag, the fashionista said: “It’s been a while, so here’s a Primark haul. And this one is Christmas party season.”
Rhiannon tried on her first purchase – a long-sleeved, black sparkly dress, as she added: “Starting off with sequins – I love a sequin dress, but this was just not giving.
“It was too short, it was too tight, and this was the two XL, so I was really shocked.”
She then modelled a mini strap dress, as she continued: “Next we have this little cami number, and actually, do you know what? Very, very short, but I don’t hate it.
“I think this would be more, you know, for the bedroom rather than a night out. But maybe with some black tights or black leggings, it might be okay.”
Following this, she tried on a silver skirt, which she paired with a red blouse, as she explained: “This Rita Ora skirt I have seen all over my For You page. It’s very shimmery, but, again, very short.
“I teamed it with this red top, and actually, I think in a size up, I could learn to love this red top, but it is screaming Christmas. Just not Christmas for me.
“Christmas for everyone else when I bend over, though. Far too short, far too tight. Do not like it.”
The disappoint continued with a pair of black leather shorts, as she confirmed: “Then I went on to some leather look shorts, and again, it’s just awful.
“Primark has really let me down this year. The sizing is terrible and the clothes are even worse.”
Finally, Rhiannon tried a satin top, but was left feeling underwhelmed, as she concluded: “This satin shirt was really cute, but again, just didn’t go with the outfit and it wasn’t inspiring me.
“I tried it on its own with a belt, which maybe with some leggings might be okay, but overall, this whole haul from Primark was a bit of a fail.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @rhiannons_way, has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed 11,100 views in just three days.
One person said: “The black shorts with some tights would look amazing.”
Another added: “I like the last shirt dress but with wet look leggings or black skinny jeans would go nice.”
Meanwhile, other fashion fans revealed where they have been buying their clothes from this year.
One user penned: “Try F&F in Tesco, lovely clothes.”
