Tina Knowles Serves Glitzy Glamour in Bejeweled Platforms at Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ World Premiere

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, brought glitzy glamour to the red carpet while supporting her daughter’s latest movie — “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.” The film, which follows Beyoncé on her “Renaissance” world tour, will be released in theaters on Dec. 1.
While arriving to the premiere in Beverly Hills on Saturday, Knowles posed in a glittering pair of platform sandals. The House of Dereon designer’s style featured an open-toed silhouette with rounded soles, set atop a thick platform base. Thick block heels, buckled ankle straps and crossed toe straps securely finished the pair.
Knowles’ footwear was glamorously complete with a coating of gleaming crystals across its light, nude tan base. The style’s allover embellishments added a sparkling finish to the height-boosting pair, while smoothly framing her red pedicure as well. Similarly glitzy sandals have risen in popularity for their supportive silhouettes and glamorous details, with bejeweled and block-heeled pairs appearing in new collections from brands including Betsey Johnson, Club L London and Larroude.
Knowles’ crystal-coated heels added a bold finish to her outfit for the occasion: a black knee-length dress, complete with tiered silver crystals across its long sleeves to mimic the appearance of bejeweled bracelets. A black feathered clutch and deep red lip brought a formal finish to the businesswoman’s look for the occasion, where she mingled with friends including filmmaker Tyler Perry.
When it comes to fashion, Knowles often goes bold. The “Destiny’s Style” author prefers suits for a business-worthy look, as well as flowing off-the-shoulder gowns on the red carpet. For footwear, she can be spotted in towering platform, wedge and peep-toe heels featuring metallic hues or prints. Lawson is also an iconic figure in the fashion world, having designed all of Destiny’s Child’s costumes during their tenure and later launching fashion brands House of Dereon and Miss Tina in the 2000s.
