Fatburger serves a massive tribute to Pepsi-Cola
Fatburger is going big with a tribute to Pepsi in honor of the soft drink’s 125th anniversary.
The Beverly Hills-based chain will be serving a burger that weighs 1.25 pounds, not including toppings, according to a news release, for a week beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5.
The suggested retail price is $15 and includes a Pepsi, the news release said.
Pepsi-Cola was created in North Carolina in 1893 but named in 1898.
Fatburger’s parent company Fat Brands Inc., also owns Johnny Rockets, which has its own promotion on Tuesday. Participating restaurants will offer anyone with the name Johnny a free shake with any purchase in honor of National Johnny Day. People who aren’t named Johnny can also get the promotion by mentioning it in-store, the news release said.
