TreviPay Debuts All-in-One Payment Solution

B2B payments and invoicing network TreviPay has introduced an all-in-one payments solution.

The new offering, announced Tuesday (Dec. 5) is part of a series of new features designed to help merchants build loyalty with their buyers.

“By providing payment choice, convenience and customization, merchants across different industries, including retail, hospitality and manufacturing, can leverage TreviPay’s technology to reduce friction and build loyalty at all stages of the purchasing process,” the Kansas-based company said in a news release.

According to the release, the all-in-one-payments offering lets B2B merchants and marketplaces serve business buyers with TreviPay as their sole payments vendor. Upon integration, merchants can customize acceptance of card types, which lets business buyers either pay upfront with a card, ACH or mobile wallet, or pay later in 30, 60 or 90-day terms.

“As enterprises continue to evaluate their digital transformation efforts, there is still an opportunity to innovate the online B2B payments experience to eliminate checkout friction and increase conversions,” TreviPay Chief Technology Officer Dan Zimmerman said in the release. “Through one comprehensive checkout solution, merchants can rely on a single payments vendor to accept multiple payments modalities and consolidate reporting across payment types.”

Other new tools from TreviPay include decentralized billing, contract price verification, customized customer support and a redesigned customer portal.

TreviPay’s new product rollout is happening at a time when payment industry insiders are noting a transformation in the B2B realm, as covered in the recent PYMNTS series “B2B Payments: Outlook 2024.”

“The insiders told us that personal touches are increasingly transforming transactions into tailored experiences, helping drive end-user retention and customer lifetime value, even across B2B engagements traditionally defined by net terms and paper checks,” PYMNTS wrote last month.

“After all, outside of the signature line there’s nothing personal about a paper check — and in today’s macro environment, just waiting for it to arrive and then clear can be nothing short of personally aggravating for businesses.”

This fall has also seen TreviPay introduce its Financial Partner Gateway, a suite of application programming interfaces (APIs) that lets financial institutions expand their commercial offerings, providing automated accounts receivable, underwriting and trade credit management solutions to their large commercial customers.
