A FASHIONABLE grandma has tested the concept of having to dress your age.
She joked about her youthful style, comparing herself to a common film stereotype.
In her video, the TikToker, who goes simply by I (@theycallme_i), poked fun at her “inappropriate” wardrobe.
The grandmother-of-three revealed that at the time of filming, she was about to welcome her fourth grandchild.
Despite this, she still rocked whatever outfits she wanted, regardless of what was considered suitable for older women.
“When you realize you are officially that inappropriately dressed fine auntie/grandma at the BBQs in Tyler Perry Movies,” she told her followers.
Tyler Perry began his Hollywood career in 2005 with Diary of a Mad Black Woman, in which he played family matriarch Madea.
He reprised the role countless times over the years, most recently in 2022’s A Madea Homecoming.
The character and her family regularly meet up for reunions, including BBQs.
As she compared herself to the cliched character, I danced around in a pair of leopard print pants and a T-shirt.
In another video, she could be seen once again rejecting the grandma outfit norms.
The older woman posed in a skin-tight black workout set, showing off her curves.
She also modeled a black bodysuit with a pair of ripped jeans and a cropped sweater.
In a third clip, she showed off her cleavage in a red two-piece shorts set.
“Who cares what anybody else thinks, we’re living,” she told her followers.
She called herself “fiiiine” and even joked about being regarded as a cougar.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the grandma’s looks.
“For sure starting to feel that way and I don’t think I care AT ALL!!! I can so I DO,” wrote one viewer.
“Facts, my kids always ask me where my clothes are at,” said another follower.
“I definitely liked the way [you’re] owning it,” commented a third person.
