ACTRESS Emma Atkins has teased another game-changing twist for this Christmas’ horror shooting in the Dales.
The star plays Charity Dingle in Emmerdale and is about to find herself caught up in a gun showdown.
Viewers of the ITV show know that her she has finally won the love battle for Mackenzie Boyd – a move which has left Chloe Harris in bits and has seen her resort to fleeing in secret with her and Mack’s son.
Charity has been determined to stay strong for Mack throughout the ordeal of Reuben going missing but after a row she has been unable to find him.
Little does she know, Chloe’s dad, Damon, also known by Harry, has captured him and is keeping him hostage and taunting him.
In explosive Christmas scenes to air next week, the truth about Mack’s whereabouts becomes known and it leads to a deadly showdown.
We know that Charity, Mack and Harry will find themselves embroiled in a scuffle at the disused factory with Chloe and Chas waiting outside.
A gun shot goes off but just who has been shot?
Emma has now teased a surprise killer twist that could see her shoot dead either Mack or Damon in horror scenes.
Speaking to The Sun and other press, Emma confessed: “I guess you’ll find out.
“I don’t think it’s in her nature to kill anyone at all. But I think she potentially could and would, if that meant protecting people that she cares most about.
“I think it’s potentially in all of us, you know, that thing to defend. But who knows?”
The epic showdown is set to mark a turning point in the show’s long-running love triangle as Chloe finally sides with Mack and Charity over the behaviour of her father.
But could someone else find themselves dead this Christmas after getting caught up in the crossfire?
