In the latest instalment of our African Voices Playmakers series, the former Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba recalls how the country's golden generation of soccer stars helped halt a civil war in 2005 - when he along with the likes of Yaya Toure and Kolo Toure united the nation through sport. Drogba, who would go on to win the Africa Cup of Nations with his country and the Champions League with Chelsea, started off the conversation with CNN anchor Eleni Giokos by talking about how more development is needed to take place on the continent to provide aspiring players with better access to facilities.
