Cadbury shoppers rush to buy ‘delicious’ choc bar at Asda set to disappear from shelves
CADBURY lovers are scrambling to grab a popular chocolate bar from Asda before they disappear from shelves.
Sweet-toothed punters were elated when Cadbury announced it would be bringing back some old favourites for Christmas – including the Cadbury Orange Winter crisp bar.
The yuletide snack consists of smooth Dairy Milk chocolate enhanced with a tangy orange crisp, and has become a festive favourite for fans of the chocolatier.
While Sainsbury’s have sold their last bars, shoppers can nab the treat from Asda and Tesco, where a 180g bar scans for £2 and a 400g bar for £4.
The chocolatier often brings back festive favourites to shelves, so don’t despair if you aren’t able to grab one of the last remaining bars.
“Wow, this is delicious,” one fan said.
“Right amount of crunch and yummy orange flavour with creamy chocolate.
“My new favourite chocolate! I can’t recommend enough!”
Another chimed in: “This dairy milk winter orange crisp is gorgeous.
“Chocolatey, orangey with crunchy pieces.”
It comes as chocolate lovers nationwide were left shocked by the latest developments around a missing flavour of Roses in tins this year.
Cadbury has admitted the fan favourite has disappeared from tubs this Christmas for a very sad reason but has now revealed what chocolate will replace it.
People have been in uproar lately as they’ve polished off an entire tin of chocolate Roses without coming across a single one of the Orange Cremes.
This controversial move comes just days after a curious bloke called Charlie Murphy started sharing numerous videos comparing Christmas chocolates, and counting the flavours in each one.
But in one of the clips, he revealed his anger after noticing that there were none of his favourite tangy orange chocolates in the tub.
Named after chocolatier Dorothy Cadbury’s favourite flower, Roses, have become a Christmas chocolate staple.
The tubs even include miniature chunks of Cadbury’s signature Dairy Milk chocolate.
Most major retailers stock 600g and 900g tubs as well as 357g cartons and 290g pouches.
Shoppers can expect to enjoy over 60 chocolates in the 600g tubs and 90 in the 900g tubs.
But prices vary across retailers, and Cadbury Roses can be found for as little as £2.99 and as much as £11.89 depending on where you shop.

Elsewhere, Cadbury shoppers were crying “that SUCKS!” – after the company confirmed that the “best chocolate bar it’s ever made” has been discontinued.
