Kaiser Permanente’s first baby of 2024 in San Fernando Valley
Kaiser Permanente announced its “first baby of 2024” in the San Fernando Valley, congratulating Encino resident Bridgette Varela who gave birth to an infant boy at 5 hours and 5 minutes into the new year at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center.
Parents Bridgette and Daniel Varela welcomed their new son Nicholas Richard Varela who weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 inches long at birth. According to Kaiser, “Baby Nicholas has one brother.”
Newcomer Nicholas is the second child born in the Varela family, joining his 7-year-old brother Matthew.
In a press release Kaiser said, “Join us in welcoming baby Nicholas and congratulating the Varela family on their newest addition. A great start to a New Year!”
