I found out my mum had an affair with my husband – but that’s not even the worst of what she did
A WOMAN has claimed that her mother had an affair with her husband.
Laci Jane explained that her husband at the time admitted to the wrongdoing, but still, to this day, 14 years on, her mother strongly denies the claims.
However, the cheating isn’t the worst of it, as Laci also claimed that her mother tried to take her house from her too.
Opening up about the ordeal on social media, Laci said: “How I found out that my husband at the time and my mum were having an affair, almost 14 years ago, after I had just given birth and I was dealing with a lot of health issues.
“So he had confessed to this and after the confession, I flew back to my house and my mum was outside.
“I got out of the car and she knew. The look on her face, she was just white.
“I got out of my car and I said ‘I need you to pack your bags and get out of my house.’
“She said ‘what are you talking about, what did he say?’
“In her state of panic, she said ‘mum (my grandma) knew about this, she knew about this and I’ll tell her and you’ll see’.
“She grabbed my phone, she called my grandma, put it on speaker phone and said, ‘you know how I told you Laci’s husband was hitting on me and was holding my hand, well now he’s telling her we had an affair. Tell her it’s not true’.
“Keep in mind at this point I had never accused her of this, she didn’t know that I knew, she was just assuming the truth came. Because it did. Because he admitted it.
“And she knew exactly what she had done.”
Laci then explained that her mother has never apologised for the wrongdoing, as she claimed: “To this day, my mum will never admit it. She’s never admitted it, she’s never apologised.
“In her mind, it never happened. And the best thing that came out of this was that my husband at the time was honest with me and told me that it happened.
“Even years after this, after we had divorced and I hadn’t talked to my mum for several years, I would ask him and his story never changed. He had nothing to lose at this point, he had already lost me.
“But my mum trying to sabotage me didn’t end there. She also tried to take my house from me. As now a single mum, with health issues, with no job, no career, nothing. That’s a whole other story.”
The TikTok clip has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a whopping 1.1 million views.
Social media users were stunned at Laci’s story and were eager to express their sympathy for the mother in the comments.
One person said: “As a mother, I would never do that to my daughter.. I am so sorry this happened to you!”
Another added: “That is such a sad story. I’m sorry that happened to you.”
A third commented: “I’m so sorry. I couldn’t imagine the pain you must’ve felt.”
Whilst someone else penned: “I didn’t know this kind of evil existed. God Bless you and I pray for your healing and health.”
