I eloped with a man I’d known for 13 days – when you know, you know, we’re still married but I wouldn’t recommend it
LOVE at first sight is possible and one woman says she’s the living proof.
She explained that although she wouldn’t recommend it, she eloped with a man after knowing him for less than two weeks.
Rachel (@themrspedersen) shared the video with over 1.3 million TikTok followers.
“When I was 24 I eloped with a man I just met 13 days before,” she said.
She explained that she was sure at the time when she made the decision and it proved to be the correct one.
“When you know, you know! (I don’t actually condone this, kids! Just because it worked for me, doesn’t mean it usually works),” she said.
Rachel shared a photo of their engagement day, with her decked out in a white dress and her groom-to-be on his knees proposing.
Years later, the happily married couple boasts three children and no regrets about their split-second decision.

“Best decision ever. He died at 33 & if we didn’t marry young, I wouldn’t have all these beautiful memories.”
